Regular Everything II is an unreleased book illustrated by Mayo Thompson between 1970 and 1971.

Background

In 1970, Mayo Thompson illustrated ex-Crayola drummer Frederick Barthelme's short fiction collection Rangoon. Rangoon's third chapter, titled "Regular Everything," consisted of twelve full-page illustrations by Thompson without text accompaniment. The book was published in July 1970 by Winter House Ltd., a new publishing house based in New York. Winter House's press release for Rangoon indicated that they would publish a follow-up book titled Regular Everything II in the spring of 1971. However, this sequel never saw release.

8th Floor exhibition

In 2015, Thompson staged his first solo art exhibition, 8th Floor, at the Greene Naftali gallery in New York City. Along with a number of recent works, he exhibited 174 illustrations from Regular Everything II in three vitrines.
