Background

Art & Language were invited to exhibit their Portrait of V.I. Lenin in the Style of Jackson Pollock paintings in a Belgian exhibition called Kunst in Europa na '68 ("Art in Europe After '68"). The exhibition ran from June 21 - August 31 1980.
The video was shot in June, 1980.[1]
